Why Short Links Matter
I’d like to explain what URL shorteners are for, who benefits from using them, and why it is important to choose a reliable, well-established service.
Many links on the internet are long and complicated, containing a mix of letters, numbers, and special characters. Sharing a URL like this can be inconvenient, and recipients may even perceive it as suspicious or potentially fraudulent.
The problem becomes even more noticeable when a link needs to be placed in a QR code-for example, on product packaging, advertising materials, posters, business cards, or presentation slides. The longer and more complex the URL, the denser and more complicated the QR code becomes, with a much larger number of individual squares.

Registered users can also choose a custom short address when creating a link. This makes the link easier to recognize and helps reinforce your brand.
Even more importantly, the destination behind a short link can be changed later without changing the short URL itself. This means the same QR code can remain on packaging, printed materials, products, business cards, or advertising displays while the page it points to can be updated whenever necessary.
